Tuesday
I have among my Christmas things many beautiful and expensive items. But of all the things I have, the item pictured today is perhaps my most beloved. Every mother I know has one, or wishes she did. (My Jewish friends have an object of similar design and construction that uses the symbols of their tradition.)
Here is Lynn, my little angel, in 1989.

A year ago, I wrote about the adornments at the top of our Christmas tree.
Two years ago, I wrote about The Poinsettia Song and the folded stars I learned to make in sixth grade.
Three years ago, I did not post.
Four years ago, I wrote about the one redeeming quality in a holiday event I didn’t otherwise enjoy.

Thanks for the picture on second try. You are right. These things are most precious.
I hate shopping and just got home for an all day dose of it. It is a challenge to search for those seemingly ordinary items people put on their wishlists so innocently. I wonder what folks do in small towns? Probably make do, or shop via internet. That is one techno advance that is easy to love. Rosemary
