Below you see Lynn DeAngelis as she appeared in 1990 at my first Holiday Open House. I have written about this event, notably in 2008, the first Christmas after Lynn graduated from college and took the boxful of Lenox ornaments we’d given her, one each year since she was born, to her own apartment and her own tree.

She chooses her own Christmas outfits now. Here is how she looks this year, pictured with her boyfriend, Matt (standing beside her), and his brothers, Chris and Nick, and their holiday sweaters, in a photo they said they did for fun:
